Ecosystem Services

Ecosystem Services, associated with the Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP), is an international, interdisciplinary journal that deals with the science, policy and practice of Ecosystem Services defined as the direct and indirect contributions of ecosystems to human wellbeing.The aims of the journal are:(1) To improve our understanding of the dynamics, benefits and social and economic values of ecosystem services,(2) To provide insight in the consequences of policies and management for ecosystem services with special attention on sustainability issues,(3) To integrate the fragmented knowledge on ecosystem services, synergies and trade-offs, currently found in a wide field of specialist disciplines and journals.(4) To support and promote a dialogue between science and policy, providing empirical evidence to decision makers in the field of ecosystem services assessment and valuation and support its mainstreaming into economic and land-use management policies.

生态系统服务，与生态系统服务伙伴关系(ESP)相关联，是一份国际性、跨学科的期刊，研究生态系统服务的科学、政策和实践，定义为生态系统对人类福祉的直接和间接贡献。该杂志的宗旨是:(1)增进我们对生态系统服务的动力、效益和社会及经济价值的认识，(2)深入了解政策和管理对生态系统服务的影响，并特别注意可持续性问题，(3)整合分散的知识生态系统服务,协同效应和权衡,目前发现在多种学科领域的专家和期刊。(4)支持和促进科学与政策之间的对话,向决策者提供经验证据领域的生态系统服务评估和估价和支持其主流经济和土地利用管理政策。
